JOB OPPORTUNITIES AND OPENINGS

The basic prerequisites for working with us at Viking Adventures Norway is a positive and friendly attitude with our guests, the ability to work as a member of a team, thoroughness in performing your tasks, dependability, punctuality, and responsibility. Your primary concern will be the safety of our guests and staff.

All positions are open both men and women.

All of our colleagues must be able to communicate well in English. Knowledge of Norwegian, German, or Danish is desired, but not necessary.

For the year 2009 we wish to hire specialists in the following areas:

 

Instructors and guides for all outdoor activities (rafting, kayak, biking, wall-climbing, alpine climbing, hiking, etc.)

You should have a basic knowledge of the various activities we offer. An in-depth knowledge of the safety requirements involved in each will be required before you can guide our guests. It is especially favorable if you are a qualified instructor in several of the mentioned activities. 
We also offer the possibility be trained up in our activities, in order to supplement our team of guides and instructors in that manner. (See Viking School) 

  

Summer Jobs and Apprenticeships:

Students have the possibility to work with us as Summer Help and/or apprentices. You gain an insight into the many and varied activities of the travel industry, and in that manner gain valuable experience and experiences within the branch. As a colleague, you will be allowed free access to the center's activities and gear when off-duty. Summer Jobs and Apprenticeships are given on a temporary contract basis, with the opportunity for full-time permanent contracts available for those who excel. The shortest contract we offer lasts two weeks.
